Another link shortener? I'm sure everyone will think so
So what's special about it?
Actually, nothing too special atm, it just allows you to customize a share image thumbnail when sharing a shortened link on social media platforms.
For now, I just capture a screenshot of the destination page and add a random gradient background below.
In the future, I will expand it further with advanced features like allowing editing of the share image thumbnails, design, color change, template change, adding images, adding text, etc. (and when that will happen is unknown — it depends on my laziness.)
In addition to creating shortened links via the main page, I have created, no, more accurately, AI has helped me create two other shortlink generators:
- CLI: with command `zii <url-destination>`
- Chrome Extension: zii.one/ziiext
The author is none other than Cursor Composer, with just 2 prompts, and it worked instantly
The product is still in MVP form, so it's completely FREE. Please feel free to use it.
