While I support the sentiment, this is an idiotic tactic. Who has the expertise to make informed decisions about what individual workers are doing? Probably that person’s manager. I promise it’s not a random third party organization. They cannot do what they want to do, not like this. This is not the way to make good decisions.
This is a technique to root out government employees that might resist in the future. Think about how much you have to bend over answer this request. You’re basically letting them walk all over you, which is exactly what they want.
