Spoiler: the author loves AI, they just dislike text-based chat interfaces for them. The reason? those interfaces present too much information.

The authors propose some sort of dystopian "no control" world, where all you have are the choices in the app, live-generated by AI based on its "understanding". Those apps should be mostly gradients and empty space, with at most 2-3 sentences per screen.

You know how sometimes companies redesign the apps, so you start it up, and all the usual buttons are gone, and the things that were simple are now super complex? Imagine that, but for every app and constantly. The feature you used last week is now gone... Trying something new means your whole interface is suddenly revamped...
